Last Saturday I was too sick to take the Standup MMA class at Steve Sohn's. But I had Tuesday off from work so I took the Jiu-Jitsu MMA class.
It was a great class. Sensei Greg teaches this class as well and does a great job demonstrating and teaching a progressive series of offensive and defensive maneuvers.
This was my first grappling class in at least five years and my third overall, and I think it showed. Basically I sucked and I gassed and got schooled by the entire class. But everyone was very helpful and I think I could really learn a lot. I hope get to take the class again.
The class started with one of the most brutal warm-ups I've seen and after the class I felt like I had been punched all over my body just from the grappling.
