Why You Need Facebook Lists

Recently I was corresponding with a friend who, like me, uses a facebook fan page to promote his website. While discussing his strategy it became apparent why you really need to use facebook Lists to organize your friends, whether you have a fan page or not.

While you could let your fans accumulate through their own volition, you can accumulate fans much faster if you Friend prospective fans and then invite them. But having many friends has its drawbacks, even for those whose Friends are legitimate, which is not necessarily the case when you’re using facebook as a promotional tool.

Corporate Challenge

I took part in the JP Morgan Corporate Challenge and now I'm reflecting back on why I volunteered, how I prepared, how I performed and how I feel about doing it again.
I did the race two years ago and I found that it really motivated me to train my running more, which I really need to do as I've always been a pretty lousy runner. Last year I passed on the race and figured I would just train on my own. But I found that I never committed that thoroughly.

Big Work Weekend Behind Me

This past weekend I completed a change which was a major milestone in a project that has been 6 years in the making (3 years with my current department).

Mother's Day Cinderella

For Mother's Day Eason and Andrea we made Aviva Mother's Day cards and a special breakfast. Then we picked up grandma and we all saw Frog & Peach Theatre Company's Cinderella.

Bronx Zoo

We went to the Bronx Zoo to see the butterfly exhibit. We rode on the merry go round and heard stories. Afterwards we had dinner at the Larchmont Tavern and a bear with an etch-a-sketch.

8 Years

For our anniversary we went to f.i.s.h. with the whole family. We really celebrated the whole week. The previous Saturday just the two of us went to Harvest on Hudson. The following Thursday the two us saw Dreamer & Demons: the Three Worlds of Isaac Bashevis Singer at Emelin Theatre.

New York Botanical Garden

We went to the New York Botanical Garden with Babcia and Dziadek. We saw lots of pretty flowers. Afterwards we had dinner at Trattoria Zero Otto Nove.
