Labor Day Weekend, Push-Ups And More

We did our usual Labor Day weekend activities of running, swimming, kayaking, canoeing, eating, and a good amount of laying (and floating) around, plus, of course, or Labor Day push-up contest. The contest is supposed to be 500 push-ups in an hour.

More pictures and video below:

We hadn't practiced at all this year, so it was a real challenge for all of us.

Eason decided to modify his goals stop after doing 300 push-ups in 30 minutes (sets of 20, 20, 20, 20, 20, 20, 20, 20, 20, 20, 20, 20, 10, ‎20, 10, 10, 30).

Andrea got into it this year and 340 push-ups in an hour (sets of 20, 20, 20, 30, 10, 20, 20, 20‎, 10, 10, 10, 10, 10, 20, 10, 10, 10, 10, 10, 10, 10, 10, 10, 10, 10, 10), though her form definitely needs improvement.

I did 560  push-ups in an hour (sets of 30, 60, 30, 25, 30, 30, 25, 30 , 40, 30, 20, 20, 30, 25, 25, ‎25, 25, 20, 20, 20).

This was a big weekend for Andrea. Besides the push-ups, she ran another 3.2 miles with me, and this was her first time kayaking by herself.

You can see some of our push-ups for yourself.

And other fun stuff we did.
