Requirement 11 (Cub Scouts Duty To God)

Recently I had to explain to my 7 year old son the consequences that being an atheist might have on his being a cub scout.

You see the scouts are inherently discriminatory against atheists. The cub scout promise starts "I promise to do my duty to god..." so if you don't believe in god, how can you possibly keep your scout promise?

My Kids Eat Ridiculously Healthy

Despite the photo, it's true, my kids eat ridiculously healthy, at least over all.

When Eason was born we decided we just wouldn't give him any sweets. While his friends were eating cake at birthday parties, we would just slip a bowl of fruit in front of him and he never noticed.

Packing Up The Bungalow

We packed up the bungalow for the winter. Andrea helped pull the boats and table up and Dziadek let the kids ride the tractor.

Hiking in Cahuita National Park

We went hiking in Cahuita National Park. We went from rain forests to beaches. We saw all kinds of monkeys, lizards, sloths, crabs and even ants.
