We took my mom out for her birthday. I think she had fun.More pictures and video below:
I wonder when I'll let Eason start watching shows with violence like superheroes and power rangers. For the time being I'm more than happy to prolong his interest in the more innocent variety of television entertainment. While he no longer has that much interest in Barney and Sesame Street, his favorites include Thomas and Friends, Little Einsteins, Blues Clues, and now his new favorite Go, Diego, Go. All of these shows are educational and none of them have anything close to violence. I know it's a matter of time before he loses interest in these shows, but the longer it lasts the better.
We took Andrea home from Greenwhich Hospital.
Anytime I'm with Eason in a playground, beach or anyplace where there are other kids playing, and Eason picks up a large stick or a rock, I always tell him to put it down right away. I always think "that's an accident waiting to happen."
It always amazes me how people claim that food that may have some beneficial ingredient is "good for you." Supposedly ice cream is good for you because dairy is a source of calcium. Dark chocolate is good for you because some ingredient is good for your heart. Too me "junk food" is any food that is more bad for you then good for you.
Andrea (An-DRAY-uh) Kamander was born on 4/18/07 at 8:37 AM. She weighs 7.4 pounds and is 19.5 inches long. Both her and Aviva are healthy. They're nursing already.
I had a great day. Eason had just spent the weekend at Aviva's parents and we got to spend some quality time at the Central Park Zoo.
