Orlando 2013: Magic Kingdom

Disney World On our first full day of our vacation we went to Disney's Magic Kingdom. We made it on all the rides we wanted to.

More pictures below:

We started the day eating breakfast in our room so we could get started bright and early. From our porch we had a really nice view of a peaceful lake.

After walking down Main Street and through the castle, we started things off with Peter Pan's Flight. It was a nice slow start hovering through London and Never Neverland.

Then we went to The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, which has always been a bedtime favorite for us.

We killed some time at Dumbo the Flying Elephant before using our fastpass going on Under the Sea: Journey of The Little Mermaid. Then we moved on to Splash Mountain, based on Song of the South, which our kids have very little exposure, and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, which they really liked. Then we went on Pirates of the Caribbean, so now the kids never have to see that movie. We rafted over to Tom Sawyer Island where I had fund hiding in the caves and sneaking up on the kids. We had a quick lunch at Pinocchio Village Haus. Then we saw Mickey's PhilharMagic.

We killed some time on the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover. Then we went to Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor, which was funny. Then we went on Tomorrowland Speedway, where I got road rage due to some slow movers ahead of us. Then we went on Space Mountain, even Aviva. Aviva passed on Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, but we liked it.

We watched Move It! Shake It! Celebrate It! Street Party. Then we headed over to The Hall of Presidents, which we liked. The Haunted Mansion wasn't that scary, but it was fun. We relaxed on the Liberty Square Riverboat before grabbing dinner at Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe (Eason had a double burger) and watching the Country Bear Jamboree. The we finished the night watching the Main Street Electrical Parade, Celebrate The Magic, and Wishes nighttime spectacular.
